For Penny, skin health is both professional and deeply personal.
After experiencing Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) herself, Penny developed a genuine interest in understanding the complexities of the skin and the impact chronic and inflammatory skin conditions can have on a person’s confidence and quality of life. This experience ultimately helped shape her decision to pursue a career in dermal science.

Penny went on to complete a Bachelor of Dermal Sciences and has now worked as a clinician for six years, gaining experience across a number of reputable dermatology and skin clinics. Bachelor-level dermal science training encompasses evidence-based skin assessment, treatment planning, laser and light therapies, resurfacing procedures and the management of a range of skin conditions.

Her approach is thoughtful, evidence-informed and individualised. Rather than simply treating what is visible on the surface, Penny takes the time to understand each patient's skin history, concerns and long-term goals before developing a considered treatment plan.
